A pair of Fort Worth acts will welcome a Nashville band to town and to the Where House at 9:30 p.m. Friday. Telegraph Canyon, hard at work on finishing its third LP with producer Britton Beisenherz in Austin, and Apollo Wild, a duo fast making a name for itself around town, will share a bill with "experimental pop" group Colorfeels. Admission is $10 for the over-21 set, and $15 for the under-21 folks.
If you have any energy left after the back-to-back blitz of 35 Denton and South by Southwest, join the Longshots at Lola's Saloon at 9 p.m. Sunday for a party celebrating the release of their new, Jordan Richardson-produced seven-inch single, Too High for West 7th. The Fort Worth foursome, fresh off its SXSW debut, will be joined by War Party, Pujol and Natural Child Family Band. Ten bucks will get those over 21 in, while $15 will cover those under 21.
