In the galleries: Ted Kincaid at Talley Dunn Gallery

Posted 7:12am on Saturday, Mar. 02, 2013

Ted Kincaid's recent body of work, "The Terrible Truth/The Beautiful Lie," will be on view at the Talley Dunn Gallery beginning Saturday, with a reception for the artist at 6 p.m. Kincaid's digitally manufactured landscape compositions appear to have been taken with a camera, and often that is the starting point, but Kincaid pushes the photographic boundaries through extreme manipulation. Kincaid will discuss his process at an artist's talk 2 p.m. March 23.

Talley Dunn Gallery, 5020 Tracy St., Dallas. 214-521-9898; www.talleydunn.com.

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
