The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have already displayed their fan-friendliness on many occasions including inviting their fans around the world for behind the scenes access with Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team. The popular CMT series recently completed its seventh season of chronicling the audition process from the first day with over 400 hopefuls, the finals auditions with the returning veterans and the grueling summer-long training camp with this past season expanded to 11 episodes to include footage from games at Cowboys Stadium and the calendar shoot in Mexico.
In February of 2012, the DCC unveiled their 'official' public twitter accounts in an effort to embrace social media and strengthen the bond with fans. For the listing of the current cheerleaders Twitter accounts, visit here.
The beginning of the 2012 NFL season also coincided with the launch of the new DallasCowboysCheerleaders.com that includes easier navigation and more pictures and information about current and former cheerleaders. The latest opportunity for fans to get involved with the DCC incorporates the new site by giving them the chance to have input in which images will appear in the 2104 edition of the Sideline Calendar. Over 120 of the best pictures from the 2012 season have been compied into a library for fans to select and vote on which they would like to see in the calendar.
