Dia de Los Toadies festival coming to Fort Worth

Posted 9:06am on Friday, Feb. 08, 2013

Wondering why you kept seeing all these insistent reminders to join Vaden Todd Lewis and Mark Reznicek at Lola's Saloon for a happy hour yesterday? It was so the two Toadies and its label, Kirtland Records, could confirm, after weeks of heavy hinting, that Dia de Los Toadies was coming to Fort Worth in September. A dozen, as-yet-unannounced bands will perform (which includes the Toadies) at Panther Island Pavilion Sept. 13-14.

It marks the festival's first staging outside of Glen Rose and New Braunfels, where it has been the last couple years. Tickets and vendor info have yet to be announced, but you can check here for more updates.

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
