The most anticipated, of course, is Beyonce's tour stop at American Airlines Center on July 6. Coming almost four years to the day after her last Dallas performance, this trip through town is part of the "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour," in support of 2011's studio effort 4. Fall Out Boy ended its four-year hiatus (which saw its various members attempt solo careers to varying degrees of success) Monday with the announcement that the Illinois pop-punk band will release Save Rock and Roll, its first album in five years, on May 7, and will undertake a massive tour which brings them to Dallas' Palladium Ballroom June 6. Tickets for that show go on sale this weekend.
And last, but not least, multiple Grammy nominees fun. will return to North Texas for the third time in less than a year to headline Gexa Energy Pavilion Sept. 11. The pop-rock band will bring with them Canadian sister act Tegan and Sara as openers. Tickets, which range in price from $20 to $39.50, go on sale to the public Feb. 15 via Live Nation.
