New Sundance Square Eatery to take flight

Posted 6:17pm on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013

Shannon Wynne, the mind behind the the Flying Saucer chain and the Meddlesome Moth in Dallas, is bringing a new concept to Fort Worth's Sundance Square, called Bird.

According to an announcement released Monday, it will be a 6400-square-foot eatery that includes a 2300-square-foot patio. It will be part of the existing Land Title Buidling, which dates back to 1888, as well as the Commerce Building which is currently under construction. The restaurant expected to open in the fall.

"We are keeping the decor under wrap until we are ready to open," says Wynne in the release. "But we are incorporating the historical significance of the Land Title Building into the design while creating an interior that has a current sensibility."
