Jock (aka "Buddy")
ID No. A18749100
1 1/2-year-old male, Australian shepherd/border collie mix, about 45 pounds
Jock, who also goes by the nickname "Buddy," came to the Humane Society of North Texas because his adopter was an older woman who was not able to keep up with the demands of a young, active dog. She loved Buddy dearly but wanted him to find a home where his family could run and play with him like deserves. His previous owner told HSNT that Buddy is friendly with other dogs, cats and children, and that he is kennel-trained and also learning potty training. He adores his toys and playing fetch, and he likes having lots of things to chew. Jock is neutered, current on shots, mirochipped, and ready to go home today. Please consider making this playful and smart young dog a new member of your family!
The Humane Society of North Texas (1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth, and 363 Keller Parkway, Keller) is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.
