Grammy-nominated Texas country music singer/songwriter Pat Green is joining forces with Josh Sepkowitz and Kyle Noonan's Free Range Concepts and local businessman Brian Manion for a new spot called the Rustic, set to open this spring in Uptown. The Rustic will be located on the corner of Lemmon Ave. and North Central Expressway in West Village and will feature a full restaurant and bar with an outdoor 'backyard' area designed with the flexibility to accommodate casual dining and live music events.

"The Rustic will be a place to relax and socialize with friends and family," Sepkowitz said. "It will be known for its three distinct qualities: great music, a vibrant patio and a great dining experience."

Free Range Concepts also owns Bowl & Barrell and the Sunset Lounge, which is having its grand opening on Wednesday. Celebrated chef, Sharon Hage, who is also involved with Bowl & Barrel, will be working with the team behind the Rustic to develop the menu.

"We will showcase kitchen and bar menus with roots reaching deep into the Texas soil, "Noonan said. "We are committed to using only beef poultry and game from local ranchers, produce from local farmers and the largest selection of Texas beers found anywhere."
