In the galleries: Bike love at The Public Trust

An exhibition, a pop-up store and three cycling events are planned for "Sunday Peoples: A Group Exhibition for the Love of Bicycles." The homage to bike culture is hosted by The Public Trust, where you can find the contemporary art exhibit and store with works by Magnificent Beard (Matt Brinker and Connor Hill), Kyle Confehr, Brian Gibb, Taro-Kun, Gina Mayes, Favio Moreno, Mylan Nguyen, Brent Ozaeta, Brendan Polk and Emily Stoker. A reception for the artists will be held 6-9 p.m. Saturday. The cycling events will be held in collaboration with Dallas bike shops: Oak Cliff Bicycle Company will host the Alley Cat-6 Crit Race at 5 p.m. Feb. 3, Transit Bicycle Co. will hold a complimentary bike repair clinic in the gallery noon-6 p.m. Feb. 2, and Switching Gears Cyclery will host a critical mass ride after-party 9-11 p.m. Feb. 22.
