Show us your tweets: Golden Globes edition

Posted 6:30am on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013

The Golden Globes were Sunday night, and according to Nielsen Media Research, they attracted nearly 20 million viewers. Maybe it was because of hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Maybe it was because people have actually seen a lot of this year's movie nominees. And maybe it's because so many people love to tweet about it. A fraction of what was out there:

Daniel Day-Lewis has already started work on his most ambitious role yet: playing both Tina Fey & Amy Poehler at next year's #GoldenGlobes.

@TVMcGee

Lifting weight while watching #GoldenGlobes thanks to stars with great arms. Take inspiration where you can get it!

@andipontv

Part of my frustration w/ #GoldenGlobes is that I don't know 1/2 of these ppl. I am so uncool.

@jeffstrater

Jay Leno's chin and Quentin Tarantino's chin were separated at birth.

@BadGuyZero

You go, Jodie Foster. (But maybe too much booze with Robert Downey Jr.?) #goldenglobes

@30Bike (Fort Worth Star-Telegram managing editor Kathy Vetter. No, we're not suck-ups.)

1-13-13: The day the term "Tommy Lee Jones Face" was born. #GoldenGlobes

@Matt_Barrie (KXAS/Channel 5 sports anchor/reporter)

Jason Statham opening the envelope is the most boring action movie premise ever. #goldenglobes (except for Speed 2)

@hulu

Breaking: Ricky Gervais has Tina and Amy taken hostage backstage. Forcing them to watch The Invention of Lying. #GoldenGlobes
