The Vee Lounge Restaurant & Bar in downtown Fort Worth will have its Grand Opening party on Feb. 1. It is located at 500 Taylor St. in the spot across from the Tower condos that previously housed Fat Daddy's Bar. Where Fat Daddy's lost a lot of business due to not serving food, the Vee Lounge will feature a full service kitchen "specializing in mouth watering tapas style dishes with Mediterranean, Asian and South American Influences."
Not to be confused with the V Lounge inside Eddie V's on West 7th, this ultra-lounge and restaurant owned by Rick's Cabaret will feature three full service bars, VIP tables and a large dance floor with music played by guest DJ's from around the world.
The Vee Lounge Grand Opening weekend will feature special guest DJ and artist Havana Brown performing her hit song We Run the Night that featured Pitbull. DJ Riddler, who was nominated for Best Radio Mixshow DJ at this year's International Dance Music Awards in Miami, will also be on hand on Feb. 1st and 2nd.
