Adopt me! Meet Donner

Posted 6:58pm on Tuesday, Jan. 08, 2013

ID No. A17922239

2 years old, Labrador retriever, male, about 85 pounds.

Donner is a very active young adult dog who came to the Humane Society of North Texas because he was too energetic for the person who owned him. Although she did take care of his medical needs, she was not terribly fond of his very enthusiastic and energetic approach to life. Donner would really love to have a family that loves the outgoing and family-oriented "lab personality," as he certainly fits that bill. He knows how to sit, likes to "dance" around you but doesn't jump on you. He is smart and eager to learn, he just needs a family that is active and plays hard like him! Donner is good with other dogs and cats, and older kids who can play with him. He will be neutered and microchipped on adoption. Please come meet this staff favorite today!

The Humane Society of North Texas (1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth) is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.
