ICYMI: Aggie fans interrupt KTXA reporter's live shot at Cotton Bowl

Posted 11:08am on Monday, Jan. 07, 2013

Jeff Jamison, who usually does weather for KTVT/Channel 11, was the calm in the eye of a live-shot storm during sister station KTXA/Channel 21's coverage of the Cotton Bowl.

Just after sports anchor Gina Miller (who is increasingly amused by the whole thing) tossed to Jamison during the Cotton Bowl, a couple of, um, enthusiastic Aggie fans interrupted the conversation, leading to a video that CBS 11 hasn't been shy about sharing. It's up to more than 191,000 views on YouTube, and that's just in the version below.

Fort Worth-bred Jamison -- an Aggie himself (he got his meterology degree from A&M) -- handled the situation with dignity and good humor. Video is about 2 minutes long, and it's worth watching the whole thing just for Jamison's punch line at the end.
