June 1: KXT Summer Cut, Gexa Energy Pavilion; semifinals of the 14th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition begin, Bass Hall; An Evening With Ira Glass, Winspear Opera House

June 4: Fleetwood Mac, American Airlines Center; Sister Act, Music Hall at Fair Park (through June 16)

June 6: Final round of the Cliburn, Bass Hall; Juanes, Verizon Theatre; Firestone 550 Weekend, Texas Motor Speedway (through Aug. 8);

Rockin' the River Tubing on the Trinity series begins (through Aug. 8)

June 7: Concerts in the Garden, Fort Worth Botanic Garden (weekends through July Fourth); Beastro at the Fort Worth Zoo; Hip Pocket Theatre's 37th season begins

June 8: Susan G. Komen for the Cure North Texas Plano Race, HP campus, Plano

June 9: Cliburn awards ceremony, Bass Hall

June 13: Trinity Shakespeare Festival ( The Taming of the Shrew and Julius Caesar) at Texas Christian University (through June 30)

June 14: The Music Man>, Lyric Stage at Irving Arts Center (through June 23); Man of Steel in theaters

June 15: Miracle on South Division Street, Circle Theatre (through July 13)

June 16: "Wari: Lords of the Ancient Andes," at the Kimbell Art Museum (through Sept. 8)

June 18:Sister Act, Bass Hall (through June 23)

June 21: Bruce Wood Dance Project at Dallas City Performance Hall; zombie epic World War Z in theaters

June 25: Flashdance, Music Hall at Fair Park (through July 7)

June 26: Life in a Marital Institution (20 Years of Monogamy in One Terrifying Hour), McDavid Studio (through June 30)
