Adopt me!: Meet Kahlua and Hunter

Posted 7:16pm on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012

Male chocolate Lab mixes, both 8 years old; Kahlua is about 50 pounds (and looks smaller, fluffier and more like a border collie or Aussie mix); Hunter is about 65 pounds (looks mostly Lab)

ID #A17995184 and A17995300

Hunter and Kahlua are very sweet "brothers" who grew up together. They have been spoiled and loved their whole lives, but their owner had to give them up because her grandchild is allergic to them. She was heartbroken to lose them, and even brought the Human Society of North Texas their Christmas stockings, complete with young pictures of them so people could see how special these two were to her family. Both boys are very loving and sweet, and housetrained, and since they are seniors, they are pretty easygoing, although they still love walks and play time. Kahlua and Hunter are not really related, but they are inseparable best buddies and don't like being apart. These loving boys will be neutered and are already vaccinated and heartworm-negative. Please come see them today at our East Lancaster location!

The Human Society of North Texas (1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth) is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.
