2012 has been a rough year on the Dallas nightlife scene as July saw the closing of longtime Greenville Ave. hot spot Kinki Lounge after seven years. The very next week, Ghostbar closed its doors a matter of days after its sixth anniversary party after the W Dallas Victory Hotel announced it was also replacing its restaurant Craft with the gastropub Cook Hall.
The latest of the popular Dallas nightspots to bid the masses farewell is Wish Ultralounge. It's hard to believe that is has been seven years since Wish opened in the spot that was previously the Drama Room on the southwest corner of Knox and 75, but it will all come to an end on December 2 when Wish closes it doors.
Wish, which celebrated its sixth anniversary in June, will host a farewell party called Wish's Last Stand on Sunday evening beginning at 10 pm. With so many memories created in this spot over the years, expect a big crowd for its final night.
