We don't think the Steely Dan song Black Friday has anything to do with the holiday-shopping madness that is Black Friday, but to paraphrase a line in the song, Black Friday does make us want to dig ourselves a hole. Judging from these tweets, we're not alone. We're also throwing in some Cyber Monday tweets, and waiting for Steely Dan to release a song with that title.
Would you rather ... go shopping tomorrow or scoop your own eyes out with a grapefruit spoon? #blackfriday

Hey kids. Let's carry the Black Friday spirit with us all holiday season. Next shopper I see at @Target, I will pummel into submission

The name #CyberMonday makes it sound like everyone still uses dial-up modems and IBM desktops.

Cyber Monday is basically Black Friday for people who are too lazy to put on pants.

OMG #CyberMonday is ending and I think I need to buy everything bc there is never ever in my lifetime going to be a sale ever again ever.

After Black Friday, shut up Saturday, regretful Sunday, and Cyber Monday, don't forget about T-Rex Tuesday where you act like a dinosaur.
