105.3 The Fan celebrates its 4th anniversary with a big party

Posted 11:06pm on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012

105.3 The Fan is celebrating its four-year anniversary with a huge bash called Fanniversary. This will not be a simple gathering of the on-air talent and listeners at a sports bar or local pub; the sports talk station is hosting its bash at the Irving Convention Center on December 8th beginning at 7 p.m. There will be four separate parties going on simultaneously, representing each of the station's daily shows:

Since the RAGE Corral is the place to see the great Sybil Summers -- who you may also remember from the 2011 DFW.com Hot Issue -- odds are pretty good that this will be the hottest spot of the night. Fans of the Richie and Greggo Extravaganza will be taken back to the old west and play cards, ride the mechanical bull and meet the Saloon Girls. RAGE will also provide a re-enactment gunfight.

Club New School will feature painted ladies, gogo dancers and cocktails. There will be air hockey, Golden Tee, pool tables and bottle service cabanas for fans of New School with Shan Shariff, R.J. Choppy and Jasmine Sadry. Think "Mancave with a Jersey Shore theme" for this party.

Elf and Slater's Beach Bash will have a pool surrounded by bikini-clad beauties. There will be plenty of beach furniture and palm trees complete with fruity drinks. If you were wanting to hit the beach for a few hours this season, this is your destination.

As fans of the G-Bag Nation featuring Gavin Dawson and Chris Arnold could probably guess, Camp G-Bag will have a military theme as the hosts will be taking on challengers for Call of Duty. Activities include a game of 10-on-10 Laser Tag and a G-Bag obstacle course. And I must mention the 'Camo Bikini Team' will also be on hand.

Of special note, my good friend and author of The Blonde Side, Amber Leigh Hartman -- known to many DFW sports fans as the very attractive blonde that always sits right behind home plate at the Texas Rangers home games -- will also be on hand for the evening. She will be bouncing around form club to club, so the best way to keep up with her is to follow her on Twitter @TheBlondeSide.

There will also be a main stage with live music from Independent George and U2 tribute band Mysterious Ways. Free tickets to the Fanniversary are available here.
