Scruffy
ID#A17771723
Male terrier mix, 3 years old; 40-45 pounds
Scruffy is a sweet guy with a sad story. He was found as a stray by a woman who saved him from the family that owned him. She told staffers that Scruffy had been living underneath their trailer, starved most of the time, and had been physically and verbally abused. In spite of his neglect and abuse, Scruffy is a sweet boy who is only looking for the love he has been missing his whole life. Scruffy is shy but very friendly once he knows you, and loves to play with his toys. He will be microchipped and neutered upon adoption. Please come give this gentle and fun-loving boy the home he so richly deserves.
The Humane Society of North Texas (1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth) is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.
