Posted 1:12pm on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013

Now that the 'reveal' episode of CMT's popular Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team has aired, the final roster of the 2012 edition of America's Sweethearts is official. The squad includes 20 veterans -- four who are in their fifth season -- and 19 rookies.

The quest to be a member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders began back on the first weekend in May with over 400 women arriving at Cowboys Stadium for preliminary and semi-final auditions. It was two weeks later when those who survived the semi-finals returned to Jerry Jones' palace in Arlington for the DCC finals auditions that also featured 25 returning veterans. Of the 79 ladies in the finals, 45 would advance to the summer-long Training Camp portion to earn one of the coveted spots on the squad.

The 2012 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are: Melissa Kellerman, Sydney Durso, Cassie Trammell, Whitney Isleib, Jackie Bob, Meagan McVay, Mia Greenhouse, Lauren Williams, Nicole Bulcher, Alexandra Caroline, Amelia Bren, Angela Rene, Brittney Schram, Colleen Meghan, Courtney Cook, Emma Mary, Holly Arielle, Katy Marie, Mackenzie Lee, Veronica Ann, Alex Hermes, Ashley Marie, Carisa Rose, Chelsea Elizabeth, Colin Julia, Danielle Marie, Emily Claire, Jacie Veronica, Jasmine Raphella, Jenna Lene, Jennifer Alexis, Jessica Marie, Jordan Elizabeth, Kali Nicole, Kelsey Lauren, Kim Nicole, Kinzie Ryanne, Olivia Rene and Teri Lynn.

With the announcement being released, the rookies joined the veterans with their own official Twitter accounts that allow their fans to interact with their favorite cheerleaders and stay up to date with DCC news and appearances. The DCC have really grasped social media including Q&A chats and contests to win items such as autographed copies of the swimsuit calendar and game worn boots. For each DCC official twitter account, scroll through the pictures above.

For the 2012 season, they also relaunched a more comprehensive version of DallasCowboysCheerleaders.com complete with more pictures and information about current and former cheerleaders.
