Adopt me! Meet Cooper

Posted 7:00pm on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012

Australian Shepherd mix; neutered male, 3 1/2 years old; 40 pounds

Cooper is a really handsome and loving dog that has spent way too much time at the Humane Society of North Texas. He came in originally in 2010 and has been returned twice for needing too much attention, and because he doesn't play well with kitties. Cooper does fine with other medium and large dogs, and he walks well on a leash. He is house-trained and loves to play and run around with an active family. He is fairly calm and has a great temperament. Cooper is neutered and microchipped and heartworm negative and would love to go to a good home today!

The Humane Society of North Texas (1840 E. Lancaster Ave. and 6708 S. Hulen St., Fort Worth) is open for adoptions seven days a week. For hours and adoption information, call 817-332-4768 or visit www.hsnt.org, where you can also view adoptable animals.

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
