'Dish Nation' to feature Kidd's Kids segment

Posted 4:25pm on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012

Every year, DFW-based syndicated radio show Kidd Kraddick in the Morning goes on a Kidd's Kids trip, taking terminally and chronically ill children and their families to Disney World. This year's trip just wrapped, and of course the show has focused on it during the past few days (you can read how the cast was affected by it in their blogs, which are rounded up here.

KKITM has also been featuring the trip on Kidd TV, its online video replay of the radio show. But the trip will also be featured on Dish Nation, the syndicated TV show that features highlights from several morning-radio shows nationwide (KKTIM is part of the regular rotation). The segment will air on Monday night's edition of Dish Nation, which airs at 11:30 p.m. on KDFW/Channel 4 and will repeat at 12:30 p.m. weekdays.

Not sure what all will be featured on Dish Nation, but it's only a half-hour show and it usually makes room for other contributors, so it's unlikely it will get in everything about this trip. But the show has put plenty of videos up on YouTube. Here's one featuring Kraddick and Jose J-Si Chavez helping some of the Kidd's Kids do something really cool, followed by Jenna Owens talking about her experience -- and getting taken for a ride. And there's lots more here.
