Last year, when TCU grad/American Idol alum Tim Halperin led a "flash mob" at TCU to debut his Frogs for the Cure anthem We Fight Back, we reported pretty extensively on it.
But there are flash mobs, such as the ultra-choreographed, local-celebrity-studded one that Halperin led on the hottest day of the hottest summer at TCU, and then there are flash mobs, such as the charmingly unexpected one that happened this weekend when Halperin performed the song during a show in Temecula, Calif. Judging from the comments Halperin made during the dancing, he was genuinely surprised by what happened. Here are clips of last weekend's performance, and of the original flash mob.
