Fort Worth's music scene adds another venue to the mix at 9 p.m. Friday, with the official grand opening of Arnetic, at 3000 Race St., just east of downtown. The 13,000-square-foot space, which was originally based in Deep Ellum, is kicking things off with a Halloween-themed event that features KISS tribute band Rock and Roll Over, as well as promising Fort Worth foursome Black Dutch Sioux. Ten dollars gets you in the 21-and-up event at the door, and a costume contest will be held.
The bustling West 7th district plays hosts to a handful of great area musicians as part of its West 7th Block Party, beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday. Two stages will feature performances from Foxtrot Uniform, Maren Morris, the King Bucks, Rodney Parker, Petty Theft and Becky Middleton. Admission is free, and a full schedule can be found at west-7th.com.
