Halloween parties are a huge deal throughout Dallas and Fort Worth. Whether it's hitting the hottest clubs, busiest bars or biggest bashes inside hotel ballrooms, it seems that everywhere you turn, there is another bigger and better Halloween event.
Here is a random sampling of some of the Halloween-week parties in DFW:
The TOP RUNG HALLOWEEN PARTY is annually the biggest and best of the Halloween bashes in DFW. This year's party takes place at Sambuca in Uptown on Friday October 26th. There will be live music by Emerald City and DJ Jen Miller will be spinning on the patio. Tickets are $20 by visiting here. MCFADDEN'S ADDISON is having a four-night celebration beginning on Thursday with Zombie night featuring $2 "Brain Shots." Friday night is the Dallas Margarita Society's "Dead for Decades" featuring live music from Echo Echo. Saturday night is a World Famous Super Hero Soiree featuring $5 "Batman Shots" all night. For Halloween night on Wednesday, KISS-FM will be in the house with over $1,000 in cash and pries and $1 Cauldrons of Beer all night! 2ND ANNUAL 'A DALLAS CANDYLAND' HALLOWEEN PARTY at the Aloft Downtown Dallas Hotel Pads on Friday October 26th includes a special DJ set by Playmate and Palms Casino Resident DJ Alie Layus and DJ Flip Millionz and DJ Joe Vega. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Tiger Lily Breast Cancer Fund. Tickets are $20.
THE POUR HOUSE in Fort Worth is celebrating its 18th anniversary and Halloween with a $2000 costume contest on October 27th. $1300 for 1st place, $350 for 2nd place, $100 for third place, and $250 for best couple!! $5 cover starts at 9 pm.
The MAXIM MASQUERADE HALLOWEEN BALL is Saturday October 27th. Maxim will be doing 15 parties Nationwide for their Halloween events and DFW's event is at ZOUK in Dallas. The costume contest is geared towards our sexy ladies of the evening. The grand prize will be $1,000 Cash, a signed guitar by Kid Rock and a 1-year subscription to Maxim magazine.
COWBOYS ARLINGTON is having a $1500 costume contest on Saturday October 27th. Live music by Chris Shackleford, Nikki Horner and Ramblin' Fever. Free cover with a costume.

The 4th ANNUAL WAKE HALLOWEEN PARTY at 2208 Main Street (former Purgatory nightclub) in Dallas will feature over 10 DJ sets in 2 rooms, live bands, burlesque revues, cirque performers, gogo dancers, artist installations, huge dance floors, concert sound and lighting, drink specials, lounge seating, and a $1,200 costume contest. Bikini's in Arlington is hosting the BOOOOKINI CONTEST Halloween bikini contest on Tuesday October 30th. In addition to the the bikini contest, the girls will vote on their favorite costume worn by the fans in attendance.
The TEXAS YOUNG PROFESSIONALS HALLOWEEN PARTY for its Fort Worth Chapter is Tuesday October 30th at Lucky Strike Lanes on West 7th. Costumes are optional. Party is from 7-10pm.
The HALLOWEEN PUB CRAWL DALLAS is on Halloween night beginning at the Trophy Room on McKinney Ave. in Uptown.
