People work fast these days. Hours (maybe minutes) after a fire destroyed State Fair of Texas icon Big Texas, there were Twitter feeds for Big Tex on Fire, Burned Big Tex and BigTexYall. And probably many more we haven't discovered yet.
With a little help from Greg Overhuls and Russ Francis of Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, TCU grad and American Idol alum Tim Halperin has done his own tribute. The brief Big Tex on Fire is a parody of Kings of Leon's Sex on Fire, but there's some true emotion within the joking. Here it is:
