If you think that just because summer is over, you're not going to have to deal with sequels, guess again. Here are four that no doubt will have people talking this season:
Taken 2: If someone you love has gone missing, who you gonna call? Liam Neeson, of course. He returns to kick more foreign backside in this follow-up to his huge 2008 hit, Taken. This time, though, he has traded Paris for Istanbul. Luc Besson (who wrote the first Taken and directed The Fifth Element and La Femme Nikita) co-wrote the script, and Olivier Megaton (Transporter 3, Colombiana) directed. How do you say boo-ya in Turkish? Oct. 5
Atlas Shrugged Part 2: The ghost of free-market philosopher Ayn Rand has been haunting pop culture lately, from the first installment of this take on Rand's epic novel last year to vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan's reading list. Coming in the middle of the election season and on the heels of the success of the conservative doc 2016: Obama's America, AS2 should be able to tap into the same audience. Oct. 12
Paranormal Activity 4: Not too long ago, you could to tell Halloween was around the corner by the mandatory "Saw" sequels. Those have been replaced by the mandatory "Paranormal Activity" sequels. This one is directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, who did PA3 and also the controversial indie doc Catfish. Oct. 19
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2: What the final "Lord of the Rings" film, The Return of the King, was to Hobbit fans, this is to followers of lovesick vampires. Part 2 wraps up the story of Edward and Bella and is hitting screens in the wake of the real-life breakup of stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Expect it to be huge. Nov. 16
