Pentatonix sings with Martin High School Chamber Singers

Posted 4:18pm on Wednesday, Sep. 05, 2012

A cappella group Pentatonix played a triumphant homecoming show Sunday at Levitt Pavilion in Arlington, and has a sold-out show Thursday at House of Blues Dallas.

Between those shows, the Sing-Off-winning group -- which features Arlington Martin High School grads Scott Hoying, Kirstie Maldonado and Mitch Grassi, as well as later recruits Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola -- used some of its time off to make a stop at Martin High, where they sang with the Martin High School Chamber Singers. This is a bit of a change of pace for Pentatonix, who sing Adoramus Te, Christe (not quite a cappella) with the Chamber Singers.

This video is one of the first entries in PTXVlogs, in which the group will provide updates about their lives while they're on tour. Maldonado explains it below.
