Seems like it was just months ago that The Hunger Games was the buzz big-screen movie -- because it was only months ago. Less than six months after the movie was The Film of the Spring, it's coming out on DVD, Blu-Ray and On-Demand this weekend, and naturally, that's being greeted with some hoopla.
In this case, the hoopla involves an appearance Friday night by Leven Rambin, who played Glimmer in the movie, at the Wal-Mart at 1521 N. Cockrell Hill Road, just off of Interstate 30 in west Dallas. And we say night, we mean night -- Rambin will do a meet-and-greet and autogrpah signing that's scheduled to begin at 11 p.m. Friday and end at 1 a.m. Saturday (Rambin is a Texas native, although she is much more connected to Houston than Dallas, according to her IMDb bio).
The movie's official home-entertainment release date is 12:01 a.m. Saturday. For some of the Blu-Ray details, go here.
