Last month, we told you about McAlister's Deli's plan to expand into Fort Worth, and those days are looming: McAlister's has set an Aug. 27 date for its TCU location at 3053 South University Drive, which is the same strip as Dutch's and Buffalo Bros. The store, which will have plenty of TCU memorabilia, will open at 10:30 a.m. -- and the first 50 people in line get $100 gift cards, so there's a reason to get there early.
The TCU store won't be the first McAlister's in Fort Worth -- the chain is also scheduled to open a location on Aug. 24 at The Village at Camp Bowie, 6333 Camp Bowie Blvd. But the gift-card promotion will only take place at the TCU location.
