The release for College Park District at the University of Texas at Arlington quite understandably boasts about such amenities for students, as well as additional parking garages for visitors and restaurant patrons. This being DFW.com, though, it's that "restaurant" word that catches our eye.
Pie Five Pizza has already announced a scheduled Aug. 22 opening for a location in the development, and Cool Berry Frozen Yogurt plans to open a store there in early September. Digg's Taco Shop, which currently has a location near SMU, will add a shop in the College Park District in November (note that scheduled restaurant openings are subject to delays). GRIP Mediterranean Grill -- a fast-casual restaurant from the folks behind Terra that will focus on pita wraps and salads -- Pho Xpress, and MAVS Sports Grill are scheduled to open in October.
College Park District is adjacent to College Park Center, which is at 601 Pecan Street in Arlington.
