Many of the world's top athletes have returned this summer for one more shot at Olympic gold in London. So why not invite back two of the stars of our 2011 Hot Issue for another turn in front of the camera?
OK, so it's not exactly the same thing, but we couldn't bear the thought of another DFW summer without two of the hottest women we know. Welcome back, Lauren and Misty.

When we introduced you to Lauren last summer, she was fresh off the Mavs' dynamic NBA championship run in her second season as a member of the Dallas Mavericks Dancers. After three years on the court, which followed a season as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (the team's final campaign in Texas Stadium), Lauren is retiring from her spot in the public eye.
But she is starting a job that will allow her to build on her love of dance. She will be the competition director of the Royalty Dance Academy in Rockwall, teaching dance four days a week (in addition to her full-time job as an administrative assistant). She hopes the dance job will lead to a long-term career.
"There is nothing more fulfilling to me than getting to teach girls my technique and my passion," she said, "and see them go on to bigger and better things like I did."

Long before she landed in the 2011 Hot Issue, Misty was a familiar face to many in the DFW area. She has been involved in modeling and worked at several of Dallas' hottest nightclubs. After appearing in the DFW-filmed NBC series Chase, she landed a spot as a featured extra on TNT's Dallas.
In the past year, she also made her second Operation Rock the Troops visit overseas in Turkey, Greece, Italy, Sicily and Germany.
Her modeling work has included the Thebes catalog, Look Swimwear, the Dallas Cowboys catalog and the Dallas Cowboys Victoria's Secret line, as well as trips to Miami and Tampa for photo shoots.
She is currently beginning a new career in job placement while continuing to focus on acting.
