DFW.com music critic Preston Jones' Songs of Summer includes Carly Rae Jepsen's inescapable Call Me Maybe, but Jepsen has another infectious song out there, Good Time, a collaboration with one-man band Owl City.
Fort Worth's Tim Halperin (American Idol) and Hayley Orrantia (X Factor) -- who have teamed up before, sometimes earnestly, sometimes in a more silly fashion -- posted a cover of Good Time on YouTube this week. This one finds Halperin and Orrantia showing their goofy sides and just, well, having a good time.
Halperin also just posted a cover of Ed Sheeran's Give Me Love on his blog. That's Fort Worth's Clark Nowlin on guitar and harmony vocals.
