Guy Fieri may have spent his North Texas Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives spin last year doing things like making an absurdly huge burger for Tim Love, but here comes a new food show that has sought out a healthful place in Dallas.
Good Food America With Nathan Lyon, which premieres at 8 p.m. CDT Saturday -- that's as in Saturday, July 7 -- on Veria Living, sends Lyon on a quest to find the healthiest places to eat in America. The first episode will feature Southpaw's Organic Grill, which has two locations in Dallas. Founded by former Golden Gloves champ Reza Anvarian, Southpaw's specializes in healthy, natural food without added sugars, syrups or preservatives. (The segment will also feature vegan and gluten-free snacks from Hail Merry that are sold in the restaurants.)
The catch: Veria Living is only available locally on Verizon FiOS Network channel 162 and Dish Network channel 218. But you can find out more about it here. And here's a clip from the Southpaw's segment.
