Courtney Bruce of Southlake will be featured in one of this week's epsiodes of Say Yes to the Dress, TLC's bridal show.
The show, which takes place at New York’s Kleinfeld Bridal salon, is about the joys and pains of finding a perfect wedding dress. Bruce, who owns a business in Allen, is looking for a "flashy" look, but her ideal dress is also her sister's dream dress -- and sis doesn't even have a boyfriend, much less a fiance.
Bruce's story will be one segment in Friday's two episodes, which also features a woman shopping for a perfect mother-of-the- bride dress as well as her own wedding dress, a bride named Afrodite who clashes with her mother on what the perfect dress is for a Greek wedding; and a farmer bride who'd prefer to wear boots and jeans to her wedding, much against her sister's wishes. (You may be detecting a mother/sister theme across the two episodes).
The episodes air at 8 and 8:30 p.m. CDT Friday on TLC. Here's a preview.
