This beautiful bartending trio isn't just about looks -- they've also got serious beverage-making skills. Bonnie Wilson, 32; Taylor Costello, 23; and Amy Klein, 25, are bartenders at Whiskey Cake, a restaurant and bar in Plano. They recently won the second annual Margarita Meltdown in the Bishop Arts district over a dozen other restaurants' teams of bartenders. Even better, they were the only all-girl team.

What's the flashiest drink you can make?

Bonnie: I love to make whatever delights a guest. The glass has to be cold; the garnish has to be beautiful. It's all about the details; it's all about the senses. I don't get into flames or smoking drinks. I like smoking other things.

Amy: I like presenting drinks with egg whites. They take longer [to make], but the result is worth it. Egg whites introduce new kinds of cocktails.

Has anyone ever successfully asked you out while you were bartending?

Bonnie: They've asked, but I've never said yes. I've become friends with some customers before and then dated later, so technically it's a yes, I guess.

Taylor: Yes, they have. They're no longer around.

Amy: They've tried. I don't wear my ring during work because my hands get all wet. Yeah, my husband knows.

If you had to watch one movie with your eyelids taped open, A Clockwork Orange-style, what would it be?

Bonnie: Pretty Woman or Dirty Dancing.

Taylor: Honestly, it'd be Anchorman. That's my favorite movie.

Amy: I don't have one I'd pick, but I really do like Crazy, Stupid, Love.

What's your best advice if someone wants to become a bartender?

Bonnie: Knowledge. Amy came from a wine bar, and Taylor worked at other bars for five years. It's important for us to know the intricacies of all the drinks we carry. Plus I drink a lot, so I have lots of knowledge.

Taylor: It's all about multitasking, and you have to be able to memorize drinks.

What do you like most about being a bartender?

Bonnie: The people interaction. I like the dynamic of the team we have at Whiskey Cake. I like the social interaction.

Amy: For me, there's a lot more freedom behind the bar. I was a server before, and as a bartender, I feel like I own the restaurant. I feel like I'm the queen. I used to just drink light beer, but my tastes have branched out as a bartender. I order for my husband now.

Your choice as a celebrity bar back?

Bonnie: Ryan Gosling. There's some damn good taste behind this bar.

Taylor: Chris Hemsworth [of Thor fame]. He could pick us all up at once. Liam, too, his brother. We'll take both.

Amy: Ryan Reynolds.

What's the best (or worst) pickup lines you've heard while bartending?

Taylor: "I'm not usually this tall. I'm just sitting on my wallet."
