When ice cream comes from a gourmet food truck, you can usually be sure it's not going to be plain vanilla. The Los Angeles-based Coolhaus is going to prove that, when operators Gary and Teena -- who also own Nammi -- bring a Coolhaus truck and their famous ice cream sandwich to DFW.

In addition to their L.A. truck, they've also mobilized in New York, Miami and Austin.

Get ready for flavors for everyone: if you prefer traditional, get stawberry ice cream on chocolate chip cookie. If you like exotic, get Peking duck ice cream on an oatmeal cookie; the combinations are endless!

According to their new Dallas Twitter feed, they'll be hitting the Downtown Frisco StrEATs Gourmet Food Truck & Music Festival on Saturday.
