Rumors have long been circulating that Bravo, that network that perfected the art of slap fights and wine throwing, wanted to ramp up a "Real Housewives" franchise in Texas. I mean, the New York area and Southern California have four of the franchises between them so it's our turn, right?
Well, maybe so, according to a report on the site Reality Tea. They contend that, despite what Bravo honcho Andy Cohen was quote as saying not long ago that a Texas take wasn't happening, "The Real Housewives of Dallas" will begin shooting this summer with an air date for some time next year. They even name the cast members.
However, according to an update from Reality Tea, Cohen has hit Twitter to deny there's a Dallas offshoot in the works. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
