Tim Halperin, the TCU grad and former American Idol top 24 singer, has done his share of originals, but he also does some pretty good covers. Witness this mellow acoustic cover of Rihanna's You Da One.
Halperin will open for LeAnn Rimes with the Fort Worth Symphony on Jan. 28 at Bass Hall; he's well-known for his work with Komen for the Cure, and this concert honors the organization's 20th anniversary.
