Dutch's Hamburgers is adding a double stack.
That's not a burger -- it's a double-stacked back patio, adding outside dining to serve TCU fans coming for Big 12 Conference games.
Dutch's was known mostly for burgers when chef Louis Lambert opened it in 2007.
It has become a busy restaurant and bar, serving specials such as a blue-cheese-bacon-chipotle burger and a selection of appetizers, salads, and shakes and malts (flavors include coconut-pineapple, mocha and creamy orange "Dreamsicle").
The covered patio will seat about 100 diners on the parking lot side. It'll be covered, with fans and heaters.
On Tuesdays, burgers are half-price and beers sell for $2. It's open daily for lunch and dinner; 3009 S. University Drive, 817-927-5522, dutchshamburgers.com.

Jack Tanner's , the bar and grill next door to Shaw's Burgers & Shakes, is set to open Feb. 1.

Candlelite Inn , the venerable Arlington landmark near Cowboys Stadium, will reopen by summer, according to new owner Alan Petsche.
The original sprawling 1957-vintage highway roadhouse has been repaired and updated. Watch for it at 1202 E. Division St.
