Three arts picks: Lucinda Williams' 'Copenhagen' video, a coupon for a pottery experience and the 70th anniversary Blu-ray edition of 'Citizen Kane'

The Star-Telegram arts writers spotlight what's rocking their world this week.

1 Lucinda Williams, Copenhagen video: We thank Pastemagazine.com for pointing out the existence of Williams' first video, a simply animated story about a man who has to wear a large protective suit after an injury and the woman who steadfastly stays with him till they are both free. It's as melancholy as the song, which is about the death of Williams' manager. Catch the video on YouTube or at Pastemagazine.com; catch Williams in concert Oct. 8 at Billy Bob's Texas.

2 Art of the coupon: Keith Thomson of Firehouse Gallery in east Fort Worth was trying to drum up business for his pottery classes when he tried Groupon. He was astounded by the response. "So far about 160 people of all ages and backgrounds have successfully come and made their pot on the pottery wheel," he says. "Some had a good experience and just wanted a little more professional guidance. Some came as a stress relief from their jobs, some just for a laugh with a friend or partner. Early next year or when most of the people have made their pots, I hope to host a pottery art show here at the Firehouse Gallery, for those people to show off their pots and share their stor[ies] with their fellow potters."

3 Citizen Kane: 70th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition on Blu-ray: Orson Welles' magnificent directorial debut and career-defining work arrives Tuesday in high definition in predictably grand fashion. Warner Bros. has pulled out all the stops for Citizen Kane's 70th birthday, including a sparkling new transfer and reams of bonus material, including a full-length, award-winning documentary about the controversy surrounding the film's release in 1941 and HBO's terrific docudrama take on Kane, RKO 281. Perhaps this three-disc set will become the Rosebud of your collection.
