The Vitaminwater INSPIRED: Fashion Uncapped event on Tuesday August 30 at the Granada theater will be unlike any other fashion show in Dallas. The setup involves ten up and coming fashion designers who were selected to compete for a $2500 grand prize. Each designer will have a case of vitaminwater with their own individual flavor, a VW sketchpad and colored pencils that match up with the variety of flavors. The designers will showcase items from their current collection as well as custom items inspired by their specific flavors.The competition will take place on the runway in front of a panel of judges that includes six fashion experts and a Coca Cola executive.
Hosted by actress/model LeeAnne Locken, this unique show will feature a live band rather than the usual piped-in DJ music. One of the cooler aspects of the night involves the audience participation by downloading the BestBuzz app on your iPhone, Android or Blackberry. The smartphone app will allow the attendees to vote for their choice as the top designer in real time. Once the judges have submitted their votes, they will be combined with the audience's and the winner will be announced at the conclusion of the evening.
Doors open at 7:00pm. The fashion show begins at 8:00pm. The VIP afterparty begins at 9:00pm.
