Pop the top on beer can chicken

In keeping with last week’s beer-themed post Grilled Pizza with Rahr Beer Crust, this week I made Beer Can Chicken. Beer can chicken has been around for a long time, but if you’ve never heard of it... Well... it’s a half-drunk can of beer stuck inside a chicken, then grilled precariously balanced on top of the can of beer. It might seem like something someone thought of after a few six-packs, but it actually works. The beer steams the chicken on the inside, making the meat extremely juicy, while the outside of the chicken gets roasted with a nice and crisp skin.
