'Anything' and everything
Before Jane's Addiction announced that Nothing's Shocking, Cole Porter did it with Anything Goes, the delightfully frothy musical that spawned songs that have become standards, including I Get a Kick Out of You, You're the Top and It's De-Lovely. The show is revived by Stolen Shakespeare Guild this weekend.
Friday through Sept. 4. Sanders Theatre at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, 1300 Gendy St. $10-$17. 866-811-4111; www.stolenshakespeareguild.org.

Double trouble
Jekyll and Hyde meet '80s and '90s pop culture in Jekyll and Hyde: A Special Blend at the Pantagleize Theater. Fusing the ages-old tale of dual personalities with rock 'n' roll and our cultural obsession with coffee, writer/director David Ruffin has come up with a theatrical brew that's a bit different. Its final performances are this weekend.
8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 3 p.m. Sunday. Pantagleize Theater, 1115 Rio Grande Ave., Fort Worth (in the historic Public Market building at Interstate 30 and Henderson Street). $15. 817-472-0032; pantatheater.org.

Oh, Johnny
Johnny Mathis, the man who perfected the fine art of crooning, returns to North Texas with two performances. Chances are, if you miss the '50s and '60s sense of pre-rock 'n' roll melody, you'll enjoy this.
8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Meyerson Symphony Center, 230 Flora St., Dallas. $40-$125. 214-692-0203; www.dallassymphony.org.
