It was a serviceable burger with scrumptious bacon strips on top, but the burger as a whole was not quite the juicy mouthful we hoped for. Over at Dutch's, on the other hand, we were reminded why this was such a strong contender in 2009. Consider the bun alone, such a sweet, yeasty pillow, you could make a meal of it. But the patty is what it sent it sailing over the top: a gloriously juicy piece of meat, impeccably seasoned and topped with bacon strips and a healthy sprinkle of blue cheese crumbles. Keep going, and your mouth gets another delightful surprise -- a balanced smear of chipotle mayo. Alas, Chubby's, against such fierce competition, the scale just didn't tip your way. The winner: Dutch's
