ArtsGoggle and Homegrown Music
and Art Festival
The Spring ArtsGoggle, the art and music sprawl, takes over 66 spaces in Fort Worth's near south side Saturday. This year, Park Place from Eighth Avenue to Enderly Place will be closed off from traffic for a more walkable experience. In addition to being a showcase for visual artists and galleries, ArtsGoggle is a good way to hear good local music from the likes of Fate Lions, Titanmoon and Whiskey Folk Ramblers. Print a map of the venues at fortworthsouth.org. If you're going to be over on the other side of the Metroplex on Saturday, drop by the all-day Homegrown Music and Art Festival in downtown Dallas. Set to play are some of the most notable local indie bands, including Seryn, Neon Indian, the O's, Ishi, Slobberbone, Astronautalis and Fort Worth's Burning Hotels.
