Coming up roses with the FWSO

Broadway legend Patti LuPone brings Coulda Woulda Shoulda to town Tuesday for the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra's annual gala fundraiser. The show gives the Tony-winning star an opportunity to do some trademark numbers, as well as songs from other Broadway shows. The multifaceted talent has played Lady Bird Johnson in a TV movie, and she also has appeared on 30 Rock and Ugly Betty . She has knocked out nonsinging roles in feature films, too, but it's music, of course, and live performances in musicals such as Gypsy and Evita that brought her fame and two Tony Awards. The gala concert, in which she'll be backed by the orchestra, precedes a dinner at the Renaissance Worthington Hotel. As of press time, tickets to the dinner, $250, were still available. To order, call 817-665-6000, ext. 111.

7 p.m. Tuesday. Bass Hall, Fourth and Calhoun streets, Fort Worth. $30-$99 (concert only). 817-665-6000; www.fwsymphony.org
