Edgerrin James aka "The Edge" burst upon the NFL scene when the Colts surprisingly selected him out of the University of Miami ahead of UT's reigning Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams. James basically replaced the legendary Marshall Faulk, who went on to win a Super Bowl in St. Louis. He quieted all of his critics by winning the 1999 Offensive Rookie of the Year.
While he later played with the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks, he is still associated from his time in the backfield with Peyton Manning. This week James is in DFW for Super bowl week and hosting the Pre NFL Kickoff Party at the Bella 32 lounge in Dallas. He is joined in hosting this Super Bowl party by Denver Broncos running back Correll Buckhalter.
