TCU alumni and current New York Jets superstar LaDainian Tomlinson is hosting the Super Bowl after party The Jet Set at Lone Star in Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth. In an event that is billed as 'Fort Worth's Official AFC Super Bowl After Party,' expect a good crowd of party-goers who missed out on some parties due to the worst DFW ice storm in recent memory.
Lone Star is the 22,000 sq ft mega club located in the spot that was formerly City Streets. It has six different rooms, multi bars and 25 flatscreens. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Joe Vega and the David Whiteman Band.
Tis is LT's second Super Bowl XLV event, following the success of Purple Reign at Cool River Cafe in Las Colinas that went down in spite of the horrific weather. Among the TCU alumni who attended LT's event that benefited the Touching Lives Foundation and pushed Tomlinson's Project 21 targeting child obesity was Super Bowl XXX MVP Larry Brown.
