Ocean Prime will host a wine tasting with Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl cornerback Charles Woodson on Monday January 31. The event will feature his label Twentyfour Wines. While playing for the Oakland Raiders, the former Heisman Trophy winner partnered with former Robert Mondavi winemaker Rick Ruiz to develop the signature wine label.
Twentyfour by Charles Woodson produces less than 1,000 cases per year of its two varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The tasting will feature three glasses of wine, hors d'oeuvres and a complimentary photograph with Charles Woodson. Guests may also bring one item to be autographed by Woodson.
If you can't attend the Ocean Prime event, Charles Woodson will host two additional wine tastings. February 1, he will be at Veritas Wine Room on Henderson. Wednesday February 2, you can join him at Kenichi in Victory Park. All three events run from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Reservations are to be made directly through each individual venue.
